On Sunday 14 July 2019, the club operated four vintage ex-Brisbane City Council buses on car park shuttles for RACQ MotorFest at Eagle Farm Racecourse.
The vehicles carried approximately 3000 passengers between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, operating between the MotorFest event and the two car parks at Doomben Racecourse (Nudgee Road and Hampden Street).
The heritage buses proved very popular with passengers as most had previously caught them to school or work between 1968 and 2015. The vehicles comprised:
- 1968 Leyland Panther / Athol Hedges – Bus 498
- 1969 Leyland Panther / Athol Hedges – Bus 722
- 1978 Volvo B59 / Domino Hedges – Bus 827
- 1994 Volvo B10M / Austral – Bus 501
