On Saturday, 2 August 2025, the Brisbane Transport Museum officially launched its latest bus restoration: Brisbane City Council bus number 958 a 1985 Denning bodied MAN SL200 which served the city of Brisbane for 23 years. The vehicle has been refurbished to its original ‘Cityxpress’ livery.
The refurbishment was made possible under a sponsorship arrangement with Indra, a key supplier to the Brisbane Metro project.
Royans Coachworks completed the restoration job with the bus unveiled at a ceremony attended by Brisbane City Council Chair of Public Transport Andrew Wines, Transport for Brisbane Divisional Manager Karl Hain, Indra’s Anthony Moran and Royans’ Scott Isaacs.
